Roy H Grider, age 90 of Summer Shade died today at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was a veteran of WWII, a Sunday school teacher at Missionary Mound Baptist Church where he attended church for many years, president of the Bank of Summer Shade, director of Edmonton State Bank and a farmer. He was also involved in many community activities.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years: Doris Pedigo Grider; two grandchildren: Laura Marie and Bradley Thomas Grider of Nashville; and one daughter-in-law: Peggy Bartley Grider Webb of Hendersonville, Tennessee.

Funeral services for Roy H. Grider will be at 1PM Wednesday at the Missionary Mound Baptist Church will burial to follow in the Missionary Mound Cemetery with Military rights provided by the Glasgow DAV Chapter 20.

Visitation will be from 3PM to 8PM Tuesday at the funeral home and after 10AM Wednesday at the church. Memorials may be made to the Missionary Mound Baptist Church or the Missionary Mound Cemetery.
