Evelyn Steenbergen Law, 89, of Scottsville died at 1:45 a.m. Friday, September 21, 2012 at the Cal Turner Rehab and Specialty Care.  The Allen County, KY native was a homemaker, former employee of Washington Overall Manufacturing and Save-The-Children, avid painter and founding member of the Scottsville Arts Guild and member of White Plains Baptist Church.  She was the daughter of the late Estil D. Harmon and Susan Elizabeth Brunson Harmon.

She is survived by her husband:  Russell Law, Scottsville, KY; 1 son:  Jimmie Steenbergen and wife, Faye, Scottsville, KY; 2 step daughters:  Valerie Law, White House, TN and Connie Law Francis, Scottsville, KY; 1 granddaughter:  Kim Dedman and husband, Duane; 2 great granddaughters:  Elizabeth Dedman and Emily Dedman and 3 step grandchildren:  Jack Law, Presley Francis and Dillon Francis.

She was preceded in death by 1 grandson:  Shaun Steenbergen.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. David Dye officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.   Visitation will be 11 am to 9 pm Saturday and after 8 am Sunday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to White Plains Baptist Church or The Gideons.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home
