David Eugene Smith, 38, of Smiths Grove, died Thursday, September 20, 2012.

He is survived by his wife: April D. Smith; two sons: Dalton Vance and Christian Bragg; his father:  Daniel Eugene Smith and his wife Sherri; his mother:  Linda Poynter Rigdon and her husband Ed; one sister: April Smith Carter and her husband Jason; step-sister: Deanna Duvall; paternal grandmother: Evelyn Smith; mother-in-law: Shirley Stephens; father-in-law: Ray Hurst.

Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.

Alternate expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the family.
