Mary Ruth Wood Gillock age 85 of Scottsville, formerly of Monroe County died Wednesday at the Cal Turner Rehab and Specialty Center.

She is survived by one son, Danny Royce Gillock and wife Paula of Scottsville; two daughters Brenda Sue Moore and husband Toby of Scottsville and Janice Carolyn Miller and husband Dirk of Bowling Green..  Six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also surviving.

Funeral services for Mary Ruth Wood Gillock will be held at 3pm Friday in the chapel of the Strode Funeral Home in Scottsville with burial to follow in the Fountain Run Cemetery.   Visitation after 3pm today and after 7:30 Friday morning.  Memorial donations are suggested to the American Heart Association.
