The Barren County Sheriff’s Office will be stepping up patrols through the month of October in the following areas that include, but are not limited to:

31E South, 31E North, 31W

Highways: 70, 90, 87, 249, 685, 255, 314 and US 68-KY 80

Law Enforcement will be on the lookout for those endangering the lives of others as well as their own by driving impaired. Officials also remind you to be responsible behind the wheel for not only yourself, but make your passengers buckle up as well.

As a reminder law enforcement will be checking drivers’ license, insurance and registration.
