Joyce Cassady Chism, 66 of Cave City passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Glenview Nursing Home. The Louisville Native loved working with children and was and school teacher for many years. She worked as a librarian at Glasgow Christian Academy for the past six years.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years: Wilbur T. Chism Jr.; two sons: W.T. Chism III and wife Teresa of Bowling Green and Benjamin Chism and wife Angela of Park City; one daughter: Meribeth Harmon and husband John of Summer Shade; four grandchildren: Merileigh Dees, Cahshia Chism, Cohen Chism and Savannah Harmon; one brother: Billy Cassady and wife Hope of Park City; two sisters: Marilyn Cassady of Bowling Green and Paula Cassady of Louisville.

Funeral services for Joyce Cassady Chism will be at 2PM Sunday, October 7, 2012 at the Patton Funeral Home, Park City Chapel with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12PM to 8PM Saturday, October 6,2012 and after 10AM Sunday, October 7, 2012 at the funeral home.
