One Edmonson County man is dead and three other persons have been injured as the result of a construction site accident in eastern Barren County today.  The 4 persons injured were working on constructing a retaining wall  in the 3900 block of Burkesville Road.  Pronounced dead on the scene was 63 year old Kenneth E. Decker was working on the road project as an employee of Van Meter Construction.

He was pronounced dead just after 11 am this morning.  A female employee was flown from the scene by Air Methods to University of Louisville Hospital.  And two male employees were transported to T.J. Hospital for treatment.  All three received injuries that were described as non-life threatening.
