George "Edward" Hayden, age 78, of Glasgow, KY,  and a Park City, Kentucky native, died Monday, October 8, 2012, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY.  Edward was employed by Housing Authority of Louisville for over 30 years and was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.  Edward served in the Army of the United States.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents; George Hayden and Elizbeth, Parrish Hayden.  His brothers and sister; Marshall Huffman, Richard Hayden, Roger Hayden, Anna Hayden, Clarence Hayden.

Edward is survived by his; Daughter:  Maria "Toni" Hayden, Louisville, KY; One Sisters: Helen (Doc) Glover, Glasgow, KY, Geneva Amos, Bowling Green, KY; One Brother: William Howard (Mildred) Hayden, Glasgow, KY; Grandson; Will Holbrook, Louisville, KY; Great grand daughter;  Amaria McAtee, Louisville, KY; A host of nieces, nephws, cousins, and friends.

Funeral service will be at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church at 1:00 PM, Friday, October 12, 2012,  Interment will be at Hayden Cemetery, Park City, KY. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist. Arrangements are being handled by Burnam & Son Mortuary,Inc., 201 Center Street, Bowling Green, KY
