POLICE MAKE ARREST ON SOUTH MORGAN STREET PDF Print

On Wednesday, October 17th a little after 9 pm, the Glasgow Police Department responded to 105 A South Morgan Street on complaint of drug activity around a minor. Upon arrival, police noticed a strong odor of marijuana. Police asked to search the residence and consent was given. After a thorough check of the home, Several items of paraphernalia and marijuana were located. After being Mirandized, Anthony Murphy II of Glasgow claimed ownership to a portion of each. Murphy also admitted to smoking marijuana in the presence of a 9 month old baby who was on oxygen. Police say 23-year old Samantha Hogrell of Glasgow stated that she was smoking marijuana in the house also. 24-year-old Jennifer Redding of Glasgow provided police with the marijuana and drug paraphernalia. 26-year-old Daniel Banta of Glasgow also provided police with marijuana and some drug pipes. Murphy was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana, and Endangering welfare of minor. Hogrell was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana, and Endangering Welfare. Redding and Banta were both charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Marijuana. All four have a court date of November 16th.
