There will be a Glasgow City Council Meeting tonight at 7 pm at the city council chambers. There will be recognition of retirees, a second reading of an ordinance amending the text of the city’s planning and development, a second reading of an ordinance amending city of Glasgow Code of Ordinances, title 15, second reading of an ordinance amending ordinance no. 2646, relating to the placement of signs, directional signs, outdoor advertising displays, and special event signs, and a second reading of an ordinance amending ordinance no. 2782, personnel policies and procedure manual, amending the drug and alcohol free workplace policy. There will also be a 1^st reading of an ordinance amending ordinance no. 1948, the city’s sewer use ordinance to comply with Kentucky Division of Water established local limits for effluent discharge into the sanitary sewer system. The council will also go over upcoming Glasgow events.
