On Friday, October 19th at 4:35 pm, 24-year-old Alyssa Dicken of Scottsville was observed by Wal-Mart Loss Prevention officer, Teresa Skaggs, concealing $53.61 worth of merchandise and attempt to leave without making payment. Upon contact with subject with Dicken, Glasgow Police noticed that she had glossy eyes, pinpointed pupils, was very agitated, confused, and unable to follow simple instructions. Dicken appeared to be manifestly under the influence of a controlled substance – a danger to herself and others. Dicken was arrested and charged with Theft By Unlawful Taking Under $500 dollars, and Public Intoxication.
