CITY COUNCIL PASSES SIGN ORDINANCE; HONORS CITY EMPLOYEES PDF Print

Restrictions and limitations have changed regarding signs and advertising in Glasgow after the Glasgow City Council passed, on second reading, an ordinance that updated the laws by which citizens of the city of Glasgow must follow when putting up signs in their yard.  These changes mainly relate to real estate and special events as Mayor Rhonda Trautman explains…

Also, during the meeting of the City Council last night, five retiring employees were honored for their service to the city.  Those individuals were Donnie Glover of Public Works and Lieutenant Kenny Boles, Sergeants Kerry Wright and Jeff Thompson, and Dispatcher Tommy Furlong all of the Glasgow Fire Department.
