Elva F. Poteet, 76, of Mammoth Cave died at 5:05 AM Oct. 25, 2012 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.

The Edmonson County native was a sewing machine operator at Brownsville Mfg. Co. and Techno Trim and a daughter of the late Easel E. Poteet and Mary Adaline Meredith Poteet. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl Poteet and Arless Poteet and two sisters, Inas Clark and Helen Brown.

Surviving are a brother, Arley Poteet of Morgantown and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be at 1:00 PM Saturday at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a member, with burial in Jack Meredith Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon Friday at the church. Gravil Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
