Thursday morning, October 25th, at 4:41 am, Glasgow Police responded to TJ Samson Hospital in reference to a female brought in the ER with a laceration on her head.  21-year-old Shawn T. Nuckols brought the female, Ashley Stratton, into the Hospital, and was observed in TJ video surveillance leaving the ER driving a silver Chevy cavalier. Nuckols backed out of a parking spot and backed into a Silver Ford F150, hitting the front end of the truck. Nuckols was observed on camera leaving the parking lot after striking the truck and continued out of the parking lot on to North Race Street. Matching the description of the vehicle in the Hit and Run report, police watched him park in a parking spot. Officer Jones made contact with Nuckols. Stratton stated that she and Nuckols had been drinking alcohol all night and that he brought her to the ER. His eyes were red and blood shot, and he was unsteady on his feet. Nuckols was arrested and charged with Operating Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Drugs/Alcohol/etc. 1st offense, Operating on suspended/Revoked Operators License, and Leaving Scene of Accident/Failure to Render Aid or Assistance.
