Murl Cee Blankenship, 56, of Adolphus, KY died at 1:20 a.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at his residence.  The Adolphus, KY native was an avid fisherman and attended Pleasant Field Full Gospel Church. He was a son of the late Russell Blankenship and Lillie Gray Huffine Blankenship.

He is survived by 1 son: Murl Blankenship, Jr., Adolphus, KY; 2 daughters:  Jennifer Roach, Glasgow, KY and Lillie Faye Turner and husband, Daniel, Scottsville, KY; 5 brothers:  Russell Neal Blankenship and wife, Jewell; Roy Lee Blankenship and wife, Shelia; Tony Blankenship and wife, Shelia; and Gary Wayne Blankenship and wife, Jean, all of Scottsville, KY; Ricky Michael Blankenship and wife, Sue, Adolphus, KY; 3 sisters:  Betty Joyce Dorris and husband, Tommy, Indianapolis, IN; Brenda Shockley and husband, Bobby, Scottsville, KY; Elizabeth Faye Bonner and husband, Steve, Westmoreland, TN; 8 grandchildren.

Graveside services for Murl Cee Blankenship will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Carter's Tabernacle Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy my take the form of donations for funeral expenses.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
