PICKUP TRUCK SWERVES TO MISS DEER, INJURES DRIVER PDF Print E-mail

On Tuesday, October 30th at approximately 5:30 p.m. Brenton Calhoun (22) of Summersville was operating a 2006 Chevrolet pickup on Hardyville Road.  Calhoun advised that a deer ran into the road and he swerved to avoid the collision.  The Chevy pickup ran off the left shoulder and struck a fence then overturned in a field.  Calhoun was transported to Jane Todd Hospital in Greensburg where he was treated and released with minor injuries.  The Hardyville Fire Department and the Hart County EMS assisted at the scene.
