Lois Hope McFarland, 78, Glasgow, died Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late Vester White Eubank and Elizabeth Pickett Eubank.  She was a retired Public Accountant with Campbell, Myers & Rutledge, CPA’s in Glasgow and a member of the Refuge Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband William L. “Bill” McFarland; her children: Fern Wells and husband Dan, and Neal McFarland and wife Pam, all of Lexington; two grandchildren: William Drexel Wells and Olivia Hope Wells; two sisters: Naomi Kinslow of Glasgow and Ruth Faye Yates of Nashville; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances Webb and Barbara Cook, and by three brothers, B. L. Eubank, Billy Eubank, and Vester Eubank, Jr.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.  Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Potter’s Children’s Home—envelopes are available at the funeral home.
