Claude Willis Shaw, 84, of Edmonton, passed in his home in Glasgow, in the early morning on November 3rd, 2012.  Mr. Shaw was born on February 22, 1928.  He was raised in the Goodluck community of Metcalfe County, moved to Chicago, Illinois, for employment, where he worked at Wabash Fiber Box Company for 23 years.  He returned to Edmonton to live and worked and retired from R.R. Donnelley & Sons.  Willis was an avid outdoorsmen and a member of the Edmonton Worship Center.

Mr. Shaw is survived by two sons; Barry (Mary) of Chicago, Randy (Tracy) of Glasgow and one daughter Brenda Bartley (Chris), five beloved grandchildren, Bob, Caleb, Moriah, Levi, Jacob and one sister Ruby Miller (Charlie) of Hoopeston, Illinois.

Willis was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Maxine and their oldest child Rich, his parents, Claude Melton and Annie Pennington Shaw, one sister, Jewell Shaw and three brothers, Phillip Shaw of Glasgow and Orville and Marvin who both passed during infancy.

Funeral services for Claude Willis Shaw will be held at 11am Tuesday at the Edmonton Worship Center with burial in the Missionary Mound Cemetery.

Visitation will be at Butler Funeral Home on Monday from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Edmonton Worship Center
