POLICE RESPOND TO ALARM ON COLUMBIA AVENUE, MAKE AN ARREST PDF Print

On Saturday, November 3rd at 8:20 am, Glasgow Police responded to 218 Columbia Avenue in reference to an alarm. A T.J. Samson security officer stated he had left the building 15-20 minutes prior to the alarm. The back door of the building was unlocked on arrival. While clearing the building, 20-year-old Miguel Andres was laying on the floor. Andres was intoxicated. Police could smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage on his body. Andres was unsteady on his feet, and when asked how he entered the building, he stated that he couldn’t remember. Andres was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass 2nd Degree, and Alcohol Intoxication in a public place. Andres was transported to the Barren County Jail.
