INJURY COLLISION NORTH OF LIBERTY EARLY THIS MORNING PDF Print

Trooper Adam Likins is investigating an injury collision that occurred at 12:57 A.M. Wednesday, November 07, 2012.  Debra Gilpin, age 29 of Lancaster, was traveling east on KY 78 fourteen miles north of Liberty operating a 1997 Chevy pick up.  Gilpin lost control of the vehicle, overcorrected and struck an unoccupied residence.

Gilpin, who was not belted, was transported to Ephraim McDowell Medical Center in Danville for non life threatening injuries.  Gilpin was also cited for DUI.  A passenger in the vehicle Jeremy Cook, age 33 of Danville, who was not belted, was uninjured and cited for public intoxication.

Trooper Likins was assisted by Trooper Mike Woodrum and Casey County EMS.  The collision remains under investigation by Trooper Likins.
