Estelle Marie "Ted" Wood, 97, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Thursday, November 8th, at Monroe County Health and Rehabilitation Center, Tompkinsville, KY. On 10/26/1935 at Monroe County Courthouse she married Robert "Bob" Wood, who passed away on 11/03/2006. Ted was born in Tompkinsville, KY on April 29, 1915, a daughter of the late Pare (Copas) and Wood  Hale. She was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church.

Ted is  survived by a son in law, Donald Headrick, two grandchildren; Beth (Jimmie) Cochran, and Bobby Headrick, a great grandaughter; Cassandra Cochran, all of Glasgow.

She is also survived by a sister, Hazel Wood, of Illnois;  and a brother, Paul Hale, of Moss, Tn; Ted is preceded in death by her son; Billie Joel Wood, a daughter; Melva Jean Headrick, two brothers; Eston Hale and Cordell Hale, five sisters; Chloe Owen, Mamie Hale Chandler, Brenda Hale Campbell, Lottie Hale Smith, and Wanda Hale Frederick.

Funeral services will be held at at Beech Grove #2 Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Tim Eaton officiating on Saturday, November 10, at 11:00 A.M.

Visitation is Friday after 4:00 P.M. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home and Saturday 9:00 A.M- 11:00A.M.   at Beech Grove #2 Missionary Baptist Church. Burial in Beech Grove Cemetery. Arrangements trusted to Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
