Jessie "J.D." Hardesty, age 91, of Horse Cave, KY, passed away Friday, November 16, 2012, at Hart County Health Care Center in Horse Cave, KY. He was a retired  Civil Service employee, a US Army Veteran and was a member of Woodsonville Baptist Church.

He was the son of the late Roscoe and Annie Fogle Hardesty

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sons:  Curtis and Timothy Lee "Biscuit" Hardesty.  2 Sisters:  Dean Cage and Margaret Marrow.  2 Brothers:  Joe Hardesty  and June Spalding

He is survived by his wife: Dorothy Dillion Hardesty. Five Daughters:  Shelia Hardesty, Bowling Green , KY, Crystall Pulliam (Joseph), Horse Cave, KY, Katina Hardesty, Horse Cave, KY, Carolyn Spencer, Memphis, TN, Donna Hardesty, Nashville , TN  three Sons: Phillip Hardesty (Vanessa), Horse Cave, KY, Tyrone Hardesty, Elizabethtown, KY, Charles "Pinky" Hardesty, Adairville, TN  Three Sisters: Evelyn Bryant, Pontiac, MI, Francis Hardesty and Fennimore Cage, both of Russellville, KY.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Monday, November 19, 2012 at Brooks Funeral Home and from 10:00 AM until time for services at Woodsonville Baptist Church.   Funeral service will be at Woodsonville Baptist Church at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, November 20, 2012 with Rev K.T. Ford and Rev Ronnie Bryant officiating.  Interment will be at Woodsonville Memorial Gardens, Munfordville, KY
