HOLIDAY DRIVING TIPS FROM THE KENTUCKY STATE POLICE PDF Print E-mail
Monday, 19 November 2012 12:01

Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green Commander Captain Bobby Murray, would like to remind motorist of a few driving tips this holiday season.

The Wednesday before Thanksgiving is traditionally one of the busiest travel periods in the country.  Before taking to the highway KSP ask motorist to:

  1. Give yourself plenty of time to arrive to your location.
  2. Make sure that your vehicle is in good working order before venturing out on long trips.
  3. In the event that you were to travel through a checkpoint make sure that you have registration, insurance, and driver’s license readily available.
  4. If you chose to celebrate with alcoholic beverages make sure that you have a designated driver.

Post 3 Commander Captain Bobby Murray wishes everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving.
