Christopher Allen Manion 41 of Louisville died Sunday, November 18th at T. J. Samson Community Hospital.  He was born in Glasgow and was a 1989 graduate of Glasgow High School.  He graduated in 1994 from WKU majoring in Chemistry and had been very active in the Baptist student union while at Western.  He attended South East Christian Church in Louisville and was an avid runner, singer and actor, most recently appearing in the musical “Wicked” in Louisville.  He was employed by AGRANA Fruit Products as their quality and food safety manager.

He is survived by his mother Elaine Manion of Bowling Green; father Benny Manion (Vickie) of Glasgow; sisters Casey Edwards (Cory) of Glasgow and Whitney Wilhelm (Paul) of Scottsville; one step-sister: Laura Hensley of Harlan, Kentucky; Grandmother Jean Cox of Glasgow; 2 nieces Kinsey Edwards and Lori Ann Wilhelm; 1 nephew Kale Edwards and several aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Boyd and Elaine Manion and his maternal grandfather Allen Cox.

Funeral services will be 11am Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Smith Cemetery at Sulphur Well.  Visitation will be on Tuesday from 3pm until 8pm.
