| GLASGOW MAN FLOWN TO VANDERBILT AFTER STEPPING IN FRONT OF A SEMI ON THE NATCHER PARKWAY |

On Wednesday afternoon at 3:34 P.M., Kentucky State Police Post 3 responded to an injury collision on the William Natcher Parkway at the three mile point.
According to Trooper First Class Tomie Walters, Robert M. Short (25) of Glasgow, Kentucky, stepped in the path of Paul McCoy (43) of Pleasant Grove, Kentucky who was operating a 1994 Freightliner Commercial Vehicle.
Mr. McCoy attempted to avoid striking Mr. Short, but was unable to due to heavy traffic. It is unclear why Mr Short stepped into the path of Mr. McCoy’s vehicle.
Robert Short was transported to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.
The investigation is still ongoing and is being led by Trooper First Class Tomie Walters. He was assisted on scene by the Warren County Sheriff’s Department and Medcom.
