AN EVASION OF POLICE LEADS TO AN ARREST IN BONNIEVILLE PDF Print

Kentucky State Police was conducting a traffic safety check point in Bonnieville when a vehicle turned around in an attempt to evade the police on Wednesday.

Police were able to catch up to the vehicle and eventually make a traffic stop on Walnut Grove School Road.  Michael E. Patterson of Horse Cave was the driver of the vehicle.  Mr. Patterson was destroying marijuana by eating it at the time Trooper Daniel White stopped the vehicle.

Patterson was arrested for DUI-1st offense, Reckless Driving, Speeding 20 mph over the limit, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Fleeing or Evading police, 1st deg. (motor vehicle), Failure to Wear a Seatbelt, and KY Resident not to use License of other States. Patterson was lodged in the Hart County Jail.
