William Thomas “W.T.” Hare Jr, 85 of Bowling Green died Sunday, December 2, 2012 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky.

The Barren County Native was a World War II veteran, who completed his military service as a guard during the Nuremberg Trials. He was an employee of Holley Carburetor for 35 years, after retiring he helped his wife with the operation of H &H Sales and was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his daughter: Brenda McGowan; his son: Gary Hare and wife Julie; three grandchildren: Christi McGowan Vickery and husband Garry, Samantha Hare Coplen and husband Ryan and Matthew Hare and wife Connie; two great-grandchildren: Tabitha and Paul Hare; two brothers: Elvin Hare and wife Carolyn and Mitchell Hare and wife Covella.

Funeral services for William Thomas “W.T.” Hare Jr will be at 11AM Thursday at the Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in the Bowling Green Gardens.

Visitation will be from 2PK to 8PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may be made as donations to the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky.
