On Tuesday, December 4th, at 10:25 pm, Glasgow Police responded to 120 A Quail Ridge in reference to 22-year-old Alex Baker beating on the door and windows trying to get inside the house.

Upon Police arrival, Sgt. Eubank went to the back door and located Baker. He was not compliant at first and was detained for safety. Baker was patted down and Sgt. Eubank found a pair of broken scissors in his shirt pocket, and a box of cigarettes. Inside the box was 1 larger suspected marijuana cigarette, 1 small suspected marijuana cigarette, 1 bag containing suspected marijuana, and a pack of cigarette rolling papers. When Officer Ford looked at Bakers eyes, they were extremely dilated and when asked, he stated that he had just smoked marijuana right before the police arrived.

Baker was charged with Public Intoxication of a controlled substance (excludes alcohol), possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Baker was arrested, cuffed, fit tested, checked, double locked, and transported to the Barren County Jail.
