Ruth Aylene Carpenter 60 of Bowling Green, KY died Saturday, December 15, 2012 at The Medical Center @ Bowling Green.  Born in Glasgow she was preceded in death by her parents Ramzey McCawley and Mary Ruth Meadows Barrick.  Mrs. Carpenter was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband Ivan Carpenter of Bowling Green; 2 daughters Tina Glass of Glasgow and Shannon Brown of Frankfort; 2 sons David Shane Kidd of Bowling Green and Bradley Carpenter of Cave City; a brother Edgar McCawley of Glasgow; 3 grandchildren Gavyn Scott, Seth Glass and Daily Grace Ray and a great grandson Chase Morgan Roddy also survives.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a granddaughter Ciara Taylor.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, December 18, 2012  at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 4pm Monday at the funeral home.
