AUTHORITIES SPEND OVERNIGHT INVESTIGATING THREAT AGAINST RED CROSS ELEMENTARY PDF Print
Wednesday, 19 December 2012 08:08

An unsubstantiated threat against Red Cross Elementary was made known to one of our teachers last night.   We have investigated thoroughly, involving the local sheriff department, police department, and Kentucky State Police.

At this point we can find absolutely no merit or validity to the threat. It has always been our policy that we will take no situation lightly and the safety of our students is our number one priority.

We will have local law enforcement on site all day today as well as representatives from our district office. With precautions in place we feel that our children are safe at Red Cross.   We will make further announcements as information becomes available.  For more information, please contact Mr. Mark Wallace or Mr. Bo Matthews.
