On Monday, December 17th, Hart County Sheriff Boston Hensley responded to a complaint of two livestock gates being stolen at separate locations on Rex Road in Hart County, 1 ½ miles south of Hardyville, KY. The owner of the property was notified of his cattle being in the road on KY 570 (Rex Road) by a motorist, subsequently finding the theft of the two gates. Hart County Sheriff Boston Hensley advised the Hart County Sheriff’s Department will offer a reward of $500 for anyone with information that helps lead to the arrest and conviction of the person/persons responsible for the theft.
