Glasgow Police Chief Guy Turcotte received information at 12:51 am, Wednesday regarding a possible threat of violence against students at Red Cross Elementary School.

A collaborative investigative effort between our Department, the Barren County Sheriff’s Office and Kentucky State Police led to the identity of a juvenile suspect, who upon being questioned by Glasgow Police Detectives, admitted responsibility.

This juvenile was arrested and placed in a Detention facility.

In response to this incident, Chief Turcotte says threats toward our children are taken very seriously and vows to stay on top of situations such as these in our community.
