Joan Rigdon, 69 of Munfordville passed away at 10:10am Friday, December 28 at her home.  She was born in Cub Run on March 20, 1943 to the late George Thomas Childress & Rachel Stith Childress.  Joan was a homemaker and a member of the Cherry Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband-Ralph W. Rigdon

2 Sons-Kevin Rigdon & wife Colette of Munfordville

Keith Rigdon & wife Carla of Munfordville

2 brothers-Danny Childress of Park City

Clevie Childress of Cub Run

2 sisters-Susie Barrett of Cave City

Edith Coates of Park City

6 grandchildren also survive

She was preceded in death by a sister-Lorene Sanders

Funeral services for Joan Rigdon will be 1pm Sunday at the Cherry Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Mickie Clemons officiating.  Burial will be in the Rigdon Family Cemetery at Munfordville.  Visitation will be Saturday from 1:30pm-8pm at the Sego Funeral Home and will continue after 9am Sunday at the Cherry Springs Baptist Church until time for services.  The family request that memorial donations be made to the Cherry Springs Baptist Church.
