GLASGOW MAN ARRESTED SUNDAY FOR POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE AND PARAPHERNALIA PDF Print

On Sunday, January 13th, at 5:23 pm, The Glasgow Police were dispatched to Bryan Street in reference to assisting EMS. While en route, dispatch advised medical assistance was cancelled. Upon arrival, an individual met police at the door and granted permission to check on 46-year-old Timothy Virgil Slayton of Glasgow. Upon contact, Slayton was lying in bed and another individual in the room began causing disturbance. While speaking with individuals, they were manifestly under the influence, and obviously trying to hide items under sheets.

Police then noticed a silver spoon on the floor with white liquid substance on it. A search of the immediate location led to the findings of a syringe with a clear substance inside. Slayton was arrested, lodged in the Barren County Jail, and charged with Possession of a controlled substance, first offense, drug unspecified, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
