On Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 8:42P.M. Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green responded to 2421 North Jackson Hwy in Canmer to Phillip Hortons (32) residence in reference to a drug tip.

Through investigation suspected marijuana, multiple pills, cash, and guns were located and seized. Phillip Horton and Cassandra Craine (20) were arrested and transported to the Hart County Jail, and where both were lodged without incident.

Horton and Craine were both charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offence, Complicity to Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offence, Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offence Enhanced, Trafficking in Marijuana (Less than 8 Oz.), Complicity to Trafficking in Marijuana (Less than 8 Oz.), Trafficking in Marijuana (Less than 8 Oz.) Enhanced, Drug Paraphernalia, Complicity to Drug Paraphernalia, and Drug Paraphernalia Enhanced.

Trooper Graham Rutherford is investigating the incident and was assisted on scene by Trooper Jeremy Smith, Trooper Timmy Jewell, Trooper Justin Rountree, and Sergeant Derek Grant.
