Yesterday at around 11:45 am, the Warren County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a missing person in the area of 2700 block of Youngs Ferry Road. After an extensive search, 65-year-old Peter Schofield of Henderson was located deceased near the residence. Investigation revealed that the subject was fatally struck while attempting to cut down a tree. The investigation is still on-going.
