Krissie Coe Fields, Barren County Circuit Court Clerk, wants to inform the public about a texting scam going on in this area.   The text reads that you have been selected for jury duty and then gives this telephone number to call 704-319-7254.

Fields says that if you are selected for jury duty in Barren County you will receive a letter in the mail…..never a text.  If you have any questions you may call the Circuit Court Clerk’s Office at 651-3763.
