One aspect of the community of Dry Fork will no longer be dry…a referendum to allow the sale of wine at the Mattingly Farms Winery in the B-103 (Thomerson Park) precinct won in yesterday’s special election.  The final vote count was 67 Yes votes, to 15 no votes.  A petition filed and certified back in November sought to bring the vote to the ballot, resulting in today’s passage.  County Clerk Joanne London told WCLU News there were 2 absentee votes cast in yesterday’s election.
