Clifford M. Hammer 76 of Glasgow died Friday, February 01, 2013 at his home.  Born in Monroe County, he was the son of Fred and Ella Geralds Hammer.  Clifford owned and operated Clifford Hammer Plumbing & Electric serving as Master Plumber and Electrician over 40 years.  He was a member and an Elder with Refuge Church of Christ at Eighty Eight.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carolyn Bowman Hammer; his loving mother Ella Geralds Hammer; 2 sons Steven M. Hammer (Tammy) of Glasgow and Gregory C. Hammer (Sonja) of Glasgow; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 1 brother Thomas Hammer (Eula) of Canton, OH; 3 sisters Betty Barbour (Omar) and Linda Strode (Carlie) both of Glasgow and Nancy Garrett (Erbie) of Hodgenville and several nieces, nephews and friends.  In addition to his father he was preceded in death by 2 brothers Herman and Paul Hammer; a sister Sondra Hammer and a granddaughter Carmelia Hammer.

Funeral services will be 2pm Sunday at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Monroe County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will begin at 4pm Saturday.
