On Friday night, Officer Jacob Elmore observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Grandview Avenue.  Due to receiving a drug complaint on this vehicle earlier, a traffic stop was initiated on 50 year old Timmy Wilson of Park City.

Wilson could not produce and up to date insurance card and dispatch advised his license was suspended.   Wilson gave verbal consent to search his vehicle, but no items were found.   Two small bags of suspected crack cocaine were located on the road.  Wilson stated he threw them out, to avoid getting caught with them.

Wilson was arrested and charged with Operating on a Suspended License; Failure to Produce an Insurance Card and Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense.

Sgt Michael Burton assisted in the arrest.
