It was a day to commemorate progress yesterday as a large crowd gathered to celebrate the 25th anniversary of WKU-Glasgow. A number of speakers remarked on the history, including former Mayor, Civic and Business Leader Robert A. Lessenberry

But over 20 years later Nunn was on the Local Advisory Council of the young WKU-G and he made a revelation to Lessenberry:

WKU-G Director Dr. Sally Ray said it was a struggle worthwhile

Dean Emeritus of Regional Campuses Elmer Gray thanked a number of those who made a difference, but one in particular, the late Dr. Juanita Bayless:

Dr. Gary Ransdell applauded the team effort of the faculty in building the success of WKU-G:
