Junius Boards, 86 of Bowling Green, died Friday, February 8, 2013 at his residence.

The Warren County native was a son of the late Albert Boards and Zella Page Boards. He was a retired Warren County School Board employee and a farmer, a member of Oakland Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Chruch, Oakland Brotherhood and was Sunday School Superintendent for several years.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years Josie Whitney Boards; three sons and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday at Oakland Mt Zion Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Plainview Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday at the church under the direction of Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel.
