The Barren County Sheriff’s Office has received several reports of a vacation giveaway scam. Residents have been called by an unknown subject stating that they have won a vacation, and that in order to claim it, they would need to pay a processing fee.

The male subject then request personal information from residents. If anyone receives a call in reference to this, they are asked to notify the Sheriff’s Office. If you can also get information from the caller such as company, subjects name and call back number.
