Trooper Adam Likins is investigating a collision that occurred on Sunday, February 24^th at 8:20 PM on Parton Road in Casey County.  58-year-old John F. Parton of Liberty was operating a 2004 Chevy Truck traveling west on Parton Road when he lost control of the vehicle, overcorrected and struck and tree.  Parton was not wearing a seatbelt and was transported to the Casey County Hospital where he was pronounced dead by the Casey County Coroner.
