Women from many Glasgow area congregations will lead the 2013 World Day of

Prayer celebration on Friday, March 1. The worship and luncheon will be at this

year’s sponsors, First Presbyterian Church located at 200 East Washington. Worship

will begin at 11:00 am. Lunch will follow.   Oliver Hoffman, pastor of Glasgow’s First Presbyterian Church explains more about the world day of prayer:

The public is invited. For more information call 651-2818. Child care will be available. Women, men and children in more than 170 countries and regions will celebrate World Day of Prayer. Services begin at sunrise in the Pacific and follow the sun across the globe.
