Magdalene “Mag Turner” Piercy VanDuyn age 72 of Edmonton died Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Greenview Hospital in Bowling Green.

She was the daughter of the late Paul and Lizzie Jewell Gibson Piercy.   She was a former cook for Metcalfe County School System and member of the Winfreys Chapel Methodist Church.

She is survived by one brother David Piercy and wife Brenda of Edmonton; one sister Geneva Hurt and husband J.B. of Edmonton.   She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one brother James Piercy.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Mann Cemetery.  Visitation after 4:00 PM  Tuesday at the funeral home.
