PASSENGER SENT TO HOSPITAL AFTER SINGLE VEHICLE ACCIDENT ON EDMONTON ROAD PDF Print

The Barren County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle accident yesterday evening on the Edmonton Road. The driver of the vehicle, Travis O. Gibson stated that he was traveling eastbound in his 1983 GMS pickup, when the front passenger side tire blew out. Gibson stated that he lost control of the vehicle, sending it off the right shoulder of the roadway, striking a tree before coming to a complete stop. A passenger in the vehicle, Clinton W. Kinnaird was transported to TJ Samson Hospital by Barren Metcalfe EMS for treatment of non-life threatening injuries sustained during the accident. Deputy Dean Crumbaugh investigated, and was assisted by the East Barren Fire Department.
