POLICE HAVE BUSY WEEKEND MAKING ARRESTS ON DRUG CHARGES PDF Print

A number of arrests this past weekend involving drugs were made by the Glasgow Police Department.

* Friday afternoon at 4:50 Police arrested 29 year old Benjamin A. Duvall of Ann Avenue operating a vehicle on Valley View Drive.  He was charged with operating on a suspended or revoked license, possessing a license when privileges had been revoked.  Possession of a controlled substance 3rd degree and Operating a motor vehicle under the influence first offense. Sgt Nick Houchens made the arrest.

* Friday night at 7:17 Sgt. Michael Burton was called to the Barren County Jail, where a prisoner arrested by Captain Lindsey had drugs on his person.  22 year old Dustin Jessie of Edmonton had a number of pills and a bag of meth in the jail.  He was charged with 3 counts of possession of a controlled substance.

*Saturday afternoon police served arrest warrants on 36 year old Selena K. Smith of Bob White Way on 3 counts of trafficking in a controlled substance 1st 2nd and 3rd degree, first offense.  At that same address and approximately the same time, police arrested a passenger in a pickup truck, 46 year old Kenneth A. Smith on charges of trafficking and possession of  a controlled substance first degree first offense.  Warrants were also executed against Smith on trafficking charges as well.  The driver of the truck, 38 year old William K. York of Sunset Avenue  was charged with trafficking and possession offenses as well as tampering with physical evidence.  Officer Casey Meek and Brandon Fletcher made those arrests.
