Area schools competed on the track at Barren County. In the boys meet, The Trojans

were able to pull off a victory over Glasgow and Cumberland County. Barren County’s

highest point earner was Mason Dunbar helping the Trojans win the four by 800 relay

and also winning the mile. The Trojans had a total of 8 victories over the course of

the meet. Glasgow’s Gary Settles helped the Scotties earn victories in the 100 and

200 meter dash. Settles lead the Scotties on the four by 100 and four by 200 relays

to take first place. In boys team scores, Barren was first with Cumberland County

and Glasgow second and third.

In the girls meet, Samantha Hammer was able to help the Trojanettes to victory.

Hammer was able to capture two first place victories in the girl’s Discus as well

Girl’s Triple Jump. The Trojanettes were able to take multiple victories throughout

the night. Glasgow Lady Scotties had great performances from Abriana Page winning

the Long Jump and Marisa Moore earning first place in the mile. In Girl’s Team

scores, Barren County was able to edge out Glasgow High. Cumberland County placed
