Warren County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an alarm at the Boyce General Store in Alvaton, KY early Friday morning. When deputies arrived on scene they observed what appeared to be forced entry to the front door of the store.

Deputies searched the store but found no one inside. While enroute to the Boyce Store, Deputies observed a vehicle parked unoccupied near the intersection of Mt. Lebanon Road and Whitlock Road. While Deputies continued their investigation at the Boyce Store, another alarm was received for Southern Kentucky Marine now known as Alvaton Store on Alvaton Road. As Deputies were enroute to that location, they observed that the unoccupied vehicle was no longer parked at that location.

Deputies were able to locate the driver of the vehicle, 18-year-old Christian Price of Bowling Green, who later admitted to being in the area. As the investigation continued, Deputies were able to obtain the identity of two other male subjects, both being juveniles, that were in the vehicle with Price. As questioning concluded, the subjects admitted to Deputies that they were responsible for the Burglaries to the Boyce General Store, the Alvaton Store, as well as numerous others on this date. Also, one of the subjects gave information admitting that all three subjects were responsible for other Burglaries that occurred on previous dates, one being the Plano Store on March 23.

Once inside the businesses, the three subjects took items such as money and cigarettes. Christian Price was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail while the two juveniles were lodged in the Warren County Juvenile Detention Center. All parties were charged with seven counts of Third Degree Burglary. The investigation continues.
